Controversial art?

Is this piece controversial? Yea it is, but there are things that are much more controversial. I'm not going to name anything though. I do like this piece however, I think its conversialality adds to the piece which makes it stronger. After all art is usually an expression of ones self anyway. So I say let art be more controversial, so what if what your expression is a little controversial. People are going to say what they want about it anyway. I wouldn't put this in my kitchen though. I don't think this piece is too controversial.
On to the shark, I like the concept of the shark piece. I also think it would be a good piece to own I would put the shark in my basement and put a light behind it so went a the lights are off all you would see is the shark. I don't think that fixing it piece would mar its artistic integrity. He should have just build it a little better though. In conclusion I think that these were some pretty interesting pieces, which makes me think what will people come up with in later years that will be even more controversial.    

First blog for this semester

As of right now i have ten breadth pieces and 5 concentrations. My biggest weakness right now is putting in enough shading and values in my pieces, and also getting them done on time. what was my favorite project from first semester? probably my favorite pieces from last semester would be my first piece I sketched out and then colored on photoshop, it is my favorite pieces because is was really fun to do and I think it turn out well. My favorite daily event was, I don't a favorite story. I Have learned the I need to work harder on my pieces and be more focused on my work. I have also learned that you need good concepts. How can I be pushed to improve, i guess just pushed to get my work done and have it done well.

last blog for the semester

Finally the last blog, what I could have don't differently. I could have used my time more efficiently, and had more shades and values. I should have done more sketch's in my sketch book, and also had some stronger concepts. but most of all I procrastinated way to much its best to get it done instead of waited and wasting time. Hopefully I can change some of those things next semester. Next semester I plan to spend my time better by getting more work done. Coming up with more ideas before hand instead of spending alot of time coming up with one, so I have some just ready to go, so i can get started on my project faster. This would also help me stay on top of things instead of getting alot of pieces that have to be finished. I would like next  semster to have stronger concepts with more mean, I going to try and work on that. I also going to try to improve my drawing so things look more real. definitely have more finished pieces this coming semester. I can't really decide which piece is my strongest, its a tie between my self portrait it has a great concept but it not most skillful piece I have made. my concentration piece with the plants is probably my strongest artistically but is doesn't have that great of a concept but I do like how well it turned out though. Well in conclusion im going to try and work harder next semester and come up with more ideas ahead of time.
